Overweight FBB's?

Hey guys, I have been a fan of this site for about a year now.  My friend and I love FBB's and she is training to be one soon.  She was originally overweight but so far has lost about 40 pounds.

I was wondering if any of you experts could list some fbb's that used to be overweight to inspire my friend, then maybe when she gets real buff I will post some pictures!

First of all, you might as well consider yourself lucky to have found a friend that is into bodybuilding. Secondly, the least I can do is commend your friend for her effort. No matter how much she develops her muscles or not, I understand that she already reaps the benefits of her efforts, if only in the form of needed weight loss.

As for inspirations, I can only think of one right now. Malissa Robles used to be overweight, obese even, until she started training. I'm sure there are others but I hope this one is enough to get things started. What's more I once wrote to Malissa Robles about that and she was kind enough to answer. You could try contacting her. A possible conversation on the whole topic might do a lot to help and inspire your friend.

Wow, thanks a lot guys.  I feel honored that you all replied, I gave you all some karma.  I talked to my friend and she really appreciated the effort you guys put out.  Great suggestions, I did not know Star Blaylock, Andrea Trent, or Kim Harris used to be overweight.  I guess you could say they are still overweight, but in the best way possible, cept for Andrea, wish she would come back, man that chick is a hottie. 

I will definitely keep you posted on her progress.  But don't hold your breath she is thinking Nov. is when she will start putting on muscle, put she is doing really well so maybe you should hold it!
